Sale of silicone for molds, we offer you different types

Low hardness silicone

Thelow hardness silicone,Although it has that name, it is a very resistant material, so it will be ideal for working with more complicated products, both chemically and mechanically. In addition, it will allow you to manufacture a large number of parts per mold thanks to its durability.

Thanks to this silicone you will be able to create a very elastic mold, which will allow you to demold complicated and elaborate figures without the risk of breaking them.

Undoubtedly one of the best silicone options in terms of value for money, as it is an "inexpensive mold silicone" compared to all the benefits you will get.

Platinum Silicone Mold Silicone

This type of silicone will allow you to work with different materials and create a large number of molds and parts. In addition, they are very resistant (even creating thinner molds), thanks to their great resistance to corrosive products, humidity and prolonged use.

EASYPLAT will also help you to increase the life time of your molds, as it always maintains the softness of the silicone, so your parts are always perfect.

Silicone of tin for metals

This type of silicone is characterized by its high quality of hardness, so it will allow you to work perfectly with very complicated materials that require to be worked at high temperatures, such as low melting point metals.

Thismetal siliconeHas a low mixing viscosity and when cured you will not have to worry about any noticeable shrinkage. It also has a much higher tear strength than other low melting point metal silicones on the market.

Silicone Food Safe

Food silicone as theEasyl 940-FDA, is undoubtedly the most specialized silicone for molds in this area, as it is perfect for use in food products (making chocolates or cakes, candies or other sweets, ice, etc.)

Food grade silicone is a type of platinum silicone that is very easy to manufacture and will allow you to make fantastic molds to your liking (always being careful with the products you use and maintaining the safety rules for platinum silicones).

In addition, this type of material, specifically for the food industry, has excellent thermal resistance (220 Cº) and negligible shrinkage.

It is a product that also has a very low viscosity, which makes it flow very well to make the mold and leaves practically no bubbles.

How to make silicone molds once you have chosen the silicone?

  1. The first thing you need to make a silicone mold is to have a figure that will serve as an example and a container with the appropriate size (that fit in it the chosen figure and the mass of silicone, having a certain distance between them and the walls of the container), try that this container is metal or plastic and that has the right size.

Our recommendation is that you use a relief figure that is not too complicated or too nuanced to produce a perfect mold.

  1. Then apply release agent to both the container and the figure. This is important, because if either of the two is porous, especially the figure, this will cause the silicone to penetrate and it will not be possible to demold it, and you would risk damaging the figure and the container.

However, one of the great advantages of silicone is that most of the time it does not require the application of release agent, since this will only be necessary if there is a lot of pore.

  1. Next, read the instructions on the silicone molding package carefully (as each product has specific specifications) and prepare the materials to make the mold.

  1. Mix well and be careful to seal the base well; let it dry for a while and then fill the rest of the container completely.

  1. Once done, let the mold dry for 24 hours and, after this time, carefully demold it using a knife or your hands.

If you use food grade platinum silicone, once the mold has cured and 24 hours have elapsed, you will need to clean the inside of the mold with dishwasher before placing any food.
