Poly-Optic Series Resins are absolutely crystalline and are manufactured specifically for applications requiring absolute clarity.
These rigid urethane casting resins differ only in working and curing time. The low viscosity ensures easy mixing and emptying in mold. However, this type of transparent resins will require a vacuum system to prevent the appearance of bubbles in the mixture.
Poly-Optic resins are ambient temperature curing products with negligible shrinkage. They are resistant to Ultra Violet (UV) rays and are not fragile.
Vibrant colors and color effects are achieved by adding pigments like the PolyColor Dyes series.
Applications include encapsulation,prototyping, lenses, sculptures,decorative castings, jewelry, special effectsand accessories.
