SKINFOAM 350 is a flexible polyurethane foam with integral skin.
WHAT IS INTEGRAL SKIN?
Within the flexible polyurethane foams, integral skin is understood as those foams that form a denser and less flexible skin in contact with the mould, thus being softer on the inside and somewhat less in the visible part and to the touch. A clear example is the steering wheels or the dashboards of the cars that are usually made of this type of foam.
SKINFOAM 350 is a two-component flexible polyurethane foam, prepared and formulated to obtain semi-rigid integral skin foams; the system is colourless. It does not contain CFCs or HCFCs.
The systems are suitable for the production of integral foam parts with moulded density between 300-500 g/l.
It is perfect for the creation of realistic props that require some consistency without being rigid at all. It is also very useful for the creation of busts for hairpicking, because thanks to the integral skin, the bust does not deteriorate with successive punctures.
Particularly suitable for the furniture industry (armrests, chairs, stools, etc.) and for the car industry (gear levers, trims, steering wheels, etc.).
It has a mixing ratio of 100A/43B, by weight.
