FEROPUR PR-55 is a bicomponent fast polyurethane that hardens at room temperature to work by casting. The product consists of a colorless resin(polyol)and a yellowish hardener(isocyanate),both unloaded.
The FEROPUR PR-55 offers excellent fluidity,easy manual mixing and adjustable viscosity by simple addition of more or less load, to achieve the required level of playback fidelity. The qualities of the product are its fast hardening and the easy machining of the hardened material.
The FEROPUR PR-55 is commonly used for the reproduction of parts in silicone molds, negatives, models and prototypes.
Take the precaution of strongly shaking the resin in order to homogenize it before use. Mix the exact quantities of each of the components and proceed to the casting of the resin into the mold.
One of the advantages of FEROPUR PR-55 is its reaction speed which implies a very short working time that compensated with its low viscosity allows the obtaining of parts in series with the use of fewer molds.
For charging use, add the desired amount in each of the components and disperse it properly before mixing. Mix the two loaded components in the appropriate proportion and homogenize the mixture. Strain in dry molds.

CASTING WITH POLYURETHANE RESIN
En el momento de hacer la colada yo uso papel de plata (o de estraza) para envolver el mold, y luego le pongo la cinta de embalar. El papel así se podrá usar varias veces, y gastaremos menos cinta de embalar. Esto lo hago mientras vierto la mezcla, porque a veces se sale por algún lugar que no hemos controlado o las varias capas de celofán no han impermeabilizado correctamente los laterales del molde.
