The PlatSil Hardener Part H is used to increase the Shore hardness of any PlatSil Gel series silicone. It also increases working time and demolding.
For platSil Gel OO,a mixture of 1A:1B:1H would give it a hardness equivalent to the Plasil Gel 10.
For the PlatSil Gel 10,a mixture of 1A:1B:1H would give it a Shore hardness: A20.
For the PlatSil Gel 25,a 1A:1B:1H mixture would give it a Shore hardness: A40 with a working time of 7 minutes and a 2-hour pull time, which is perfect for making extremely accurate block molds as well as flat molds for prosthetics that will not be distorted when a scraper is applied to scrape the prosthetic silicone applications. A much better solution than using a 40 hardness silicone from the beginning, less fluid, harder to work with and with more pull time than platSil Gel 25.
