Isopropyl Alcohol, also known as IPA or Isopropanol is used by FX artists to activate makeup palettes such as those of the BlueBird FX and Skin Illustrator brands. It is also used as a 3D part cleaner on SLA printers
Cleans and degreases the silicone before being painted.
In 3D SLA resin prints, the part should be inserted for a couple of minutes into a container containing isopropyl alcohol. You can remove the piece and rub it with a sponge or toothbrush so that all traces of resin that may be in the cavities come out.
It is very useful for cleaning brushes and other equipment.
