09:30-10:00 TOMORROW:

- Arrival of students, coffee and welcome pastries while we know each other.

10:00-10:15 TOMORROW:

- Presentation of the course to the students by Fernando Rodríguez, president of Feroca.

10:15-14:00 TOMORROW:

- Juan Villa: Introduction and explanation of the different materials that can be used to make Props and in the Cosplay. Pros and cons of different types of materials and their characteristics.

- Juan will teach you the techniques and tricks to perform a spectacular ornament for a shell or helmet, using various Materials of Feroca. Each student will make their own ornament, counting on their continued attendance and that of the support teachers (K-belmodels)

- We will start modeling the part first in professional molding clay, and then move on to make the polyurethane mold, and let it catalyze.

- While drying the previous mold, we will start making a Prop to choose for each student within a few models to choose from. Modeling will be done in natural paste similar to mud.

14:00-15:30 FOOD REST:

- Students and teachers will eat together. The menu is included in the WorkShop price. If someone needs a special diet, they should bring it on their own.

15:30-16:00 LATE:

- Surprise Cosplay. We'll show you a trick to impress in your Cosplay contests.

16:00-20:00 LATE:

- We will start performing a part of a full-size shell. To do this, students will be grouped into teams of 3. John will explain to you some basic notions of patronage from which we can depart to realize our armor. Next we will start to make a silicone mold and its countermould in fiberglass.

- Next we will make the Prop mold that we had modeled before eating.

- We will leave all the molds ready to be able to make the copies on Sunday.

09:30-10:00 TOMORROW:

- Coffee and pastries while remembering what was done the day before.

10:00-14:00 TOMORROW:

- We check that all the molds have dried properly and continue with the different castings in different materials.

- The shell ornament will be cast in semi-flexible polyurethane or silicone. The Prop will be strained into Latex and polyurethane foam and the special polyurethane shell for Cosplay.

14:00-14:30 TOMORROW:

- Final conclusions and delivery of diplomas.

HOW TO GET THERE?

The WorkShops of Feroca will be taught at the headquarters of Feroca in Fuenlabrada, a town near Madrid, at the following address:

We have a large free parking where students can leave their cars.

BY CAR:

  1. The best way to get there by car on the A-42 and take exit 17 (Service Route. Industrial polygons)
  2. Then take the detour to the right that indicates "Cantueña Industrial Park"
  3. At the roundabout take the second exit (Avda. de la Industria)
  4. Next straight roundabout (Industry Avda.)
  5. Last roundabout on the right and you are already on Calle Sierra Elvira.

TIPS: The Masterclass is taught in a classroom enabled in an industrial ship. We always try to condition the space to make the temperature pleasant, but it is advisable to bring comfortable and suitable footwear for industrial ship and comfortable clothes, suitable to the temperature of the day and suitable to work in a workshop.
